Ward & KrugerIn 1968 Ward and Kruger moved to 6 Sackville Street, specialising in military uniforms for the cavalry and foot guards. They originally set up as a ‘sit in’ when they broke away from Hogg and Son of Hanover Square. A ‘sit in’ is a tailoring trade term for renting space, common practice for Savile Row Tailors.
Today, Ward and Kruger’s name is still proudly displayed on the shop window along with Jones, Chalk & Dawson and Meyer and Mortimer. |
